Spier’s Annual Ceramic Exhibition

Call for Participation

Spier Arts Trust announces the return of its popular winter ceramics exhibition at Old Wine Cellar, Spier Wine Estate in Stellenbosch, opening 20 April until 30 August 2026. Its current open call invites professional artists working in the ceramic medium to submit up to three artworks for review and inclusion.

Submit the online application form here before the 12th January 2026 (late applications will not be considered). If your work is selected, you must be able to transport artworks at your cost to our preferred collection points across the country [Cape Town, Johannesburg, Gqberha]. This exhibition is intended to showcase a diverse range of new work using the medium of clay. All the artworks will be available for sale at the exhibition venue and on Spier Arts Trust's online sales platform.

Applications should include the artist’s CV, biography, artwork images, and details.
