AVA HR

The Association for Visual Arts is an organisation for and by artists.

Traditionally the AVA has operated with a mini team of paid staff (between 2-4 members) plus a large base of volunteers.

The AVA board members (between 6-15) are our first source of volunteers. Nominated and elected by paid-up members at the Annual General Meeting to serve for a period of 2 years, that may be renewed for another 2 years, the AVA board is made up of professionals in the specific fields of Management (Executive Committee), Programming & Art Reach (Selection Committee), Finance (Fundraising Committee), Marketing (Marketing & Membership Committee), Governance & Compliance (Governance Committee).

A second source of immeasurably valuable volunteers consists of a pool of people that complete the form in the next column.
