Stefan Raubenheimer is a global climate change and development specialist who has worked across the world in multiple countries, seeking to find solutions to the climate and nature crisis as well as to the development deficit in the global South.

As an artist, Raubenheimer has made art since his youth, and in his 20s won the best untrained artist award at an SANAVA competition. Since then, he has accepted a few commissions, but his practice has only become a serious occupation in the last 5 years. This series was done mostly at night between 2021 and 2025, working first in Scotland and then in Cape Town.
