Pro Helvetia Johannesburg has opened our annual call for residency applications.

Pro Helvetia Johannesburg supports residencies of up to 3-months for artists and cultural practitioners from Southern, East, Central and West Africa in Switzerland, and for their counterparts in Switzerland in these regions on the continent.

This will be a valuable opportunity for potential applicants to ask questions, gain insight and hear from past artists in residence and one of our Swiss host partners.

The session is aimed at all artists and cultural practitioners interested in applying for a Pro Helvetia residency.
