Raul Jorge Gourgel (b. 1999) is an Angolan multidisciplinary artist and researcher currently based in Cape Town and sometimes Luanda. Drawing from modern Angolan history and current events, their practice is interested in dissecting the construct of the nation and how it informs collectivised ontologies and epistemologies.
